MRED's training department is responsible for providing the training necessary to keep our 40,000+ subscribers up to date on all aspects of our MLS system and a variety of other real estate technology products. As the director of training I am responsible for making sure our department goals align with our companies strategic goals. This entails planning training for the future and the present. Some of my additional responsibilities include creating yearly training budget, implementing training infrastructure, developing courses, and overseeing 27 contract trainers.

I was fully responsible for managing all aspects of MRED's training department, including overseeing fifteen independent contractors that served as our trainers and one staff employee.Review and plan MRED's monthly schedule of classes based on analysis of training trends and upcoming technology enhancements or product launches. As the training department manager I created all training content and customized our real estate technology training classes to fit the needs of our subscribers. including maintaining and creating new classes for constantly changing technologies. Additionally, I regularly recorded training videos for our subscribers using Camtasia software, Vyond animated videos and SnagIt screen grabbing. As the training department manager, I was the project manager for the redesign of our website. The website, www.mredllc.com, launched in 2018 on time and on budget with many positive reviews (linked below) throughout the industry. Additionally, I worked directly with an outside IT vendor to recreate our LMS system to automate processes and provide more resources to our subscribers.In my career with MRED, I was responsible for bringing online classes to our subscribers in 2008 and have coordinated live online webinars via WebEx since that time. I also created and began sharing recorded on-demand videos in 2010.

During the 2 years I was the training department administrative assistant at MRED, I was heavily involved in customer service and coordinating and maintaining all aspects of the training schedule. Responsible for working with customers to assist them in registering for or cancelling training classes. Coordinated training scheduled with 13 realtor association partners. Coordinated training schedule for 15 independent contract trainers for both hands on, online and in office training. Maintained our learning management system and suggested updated to IT in order for our subscribers to get the most out of it. Monitor and respond to training feedback from customers. While in this position I brought online classes to our subscribers in 2008.
