In my current capacity, I am actively contributing to a district-wide effort aimed at reaching students with disabilities and formulating a new curriculum grounded in math and reading skills. This initiative is strategically designed to address educational gaps, particularly in low-income neighborhoods. Working collaboratively with middle schools, we are rigorously testing and refining the curriculum to ensure its effectiveness before district-wide implementation. Additionally, I have extensive experience as a Special Education Teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the primary/secondary education industry. I am skilled in creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans, providing interventions and support services, data tracking and analysis, and curriculum development.
