For my final year project in college I was part of a 3 person team to run a PR campaign for our client MacDoll Boutique. Throughout the 4 months we thought of new innovative ways to reach their target market and holding a range of events to gain interest and build brand awareness as it was a new startup. We hosted a spring/summer collection event, discount.

I was able to develop my communication and leadership skills in my time in Channings Hotel. I was a bar tender and waitress and also a supervisor two nights of the week. This is where I had to deal with any complaints that customers had and also handle the cash and office admin work at the end of the night.

In the Restaurants Association I worked as a PR and communications intern. I was in charge of a competition where I had to organise mentors, the social media, also securing sponsorship for prizes and writing press releases. I did a lot of admin work around the office and making phone calls. My experience has given me extensive knowledge in social media.
