As the Vice President of Programs and Strategy for the Patterson Family Foundation, Jessica plays a pivotal role in leading the organization toward its vision of thriving rural communities. As a member of the senior leadership team, she oversees the development and execution of the Foundation's strategy and daily operations.Reporting directly to the President, Jessica is responsible for the comprehensive management of all program areas. This includes the development, delivery, and evaluation of mission-related programs and grants, as well as leading a dedicated team of Program Officers and Research Analysts. In 2023, she successfully managed a charitable program budget of approximately $51.3 million, benefiting over 100 rural counties in Kansas and northwestern Missouri. Looking ahead, the Foundation is planning to expand its charitable activities in the coming years.Jessica joined the Foundation in 2019, bringing with her nearly a decade of experience from the corporate sector at Cerner Corporation. As a Senior Program Manager within Cerner’s Population Health Services organization, she was instrumental in several strategic initiatives and special programs led by Cerner’s co-founder, Chairman, and CEO, Neal Patterson. Her work primarily focused on rural community engagement, aiming to enhance healthcare access and improve health outcomes.
