Responsible for file review of complex home loan applications, specifically self-employed customers. Communicated clear and timely with customers, HMC’s, settlement agents, brokers, and other counter parties to obtain missing information and documentation for the application. Ensuring all compliance and underwriting guidelines are met; entering loan information into the system; prioritizing and or managing assigned pipeline to meet anticipated closing date and performance metrics. Transactions include refinance and purchase. Provided guidance and training to other mortgage processors. S.A.F.E. certified. Managed transaction from time submitted until the transaction concluded.

Single point of contact for borrowers and agencies with an active mediated file for their mortgage loan. Partnered with underwriters, consultants and attorneys to assist with getting a retention decision while following the specific mediation guidelines for each state. Reviewed the borrowers financial situation and supporting documents to help determine retention decision, communicated decision and assisted with payments or liquidation options to help avoid foreclosure.
