Business Analyst
CurrentWork with IT leadership, stakeholders, developers, and other team members to define problems, outline solutions, and organize requirements.Identify and prioritize technical and functional requirementsWork with stakeholders and technical architects to define business requirements and translate them into actionable items for the IT teamPlan and monitor execution with the development team(s) and facilitate Agile processes (acting as Scrummaster when needed)Work across teams to coordinate dependencies and complex deploymentsOperational reporting on development activityTriage and analysis of inbound requests from the businessCreate and maintain documentation related to requirements, processes, and project statusFacilitate UAT/demos with stakeholdersAssist IT leadership in developing and maintaining the IT roadmapWork with other BAs and IT leadership to champion process improvementsSCRUM Responsibilities: Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.Facilitate internal communication and effective collaborationBe the point of contact for external communications (e.g., from customers or stakeholders)Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requestsResolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occurHelp teams implement changes effectivelyEnsure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprintHelp build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on itUsing agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.Training, mentoring and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing.Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team.
