In this role, I worked alongside the Editor-in-Chief to provide strategic overview and editorial direction. I also assisted in setting the publication up for acquisition. In addition, I wrote curated articles on destinations around the world, conducted interviews, implemented global campaigns, liaised with tourism boards and content creators, and pitched to global media. I had 20 direct reports all around the world, all of whom worked on tight turnaround times. This role allowed me to hone my skills in all areas, including leadership and team management.

In this role, I managed editorial content and produced global press releases, as well as destination guides for national campaigns in collaboration with various tourism boards, all of which had strict briefs and deadlines. I also headed up socials and curated all content and copy across the various social media channels. In addition, I assisted in the planning and implementation of events.
