As the Director at Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS), I lead a team of staff and volunteers who provide financial assistance and education to active duty and retired Sailors and Marines and their families. We help them achieve financial stability, security, and independence through various programs and services, such as interest-free loans, grants, budget counseling, and financial awareness training.I have been in this role since June 2021, after serving as a Relief Services Assistant for nine months. I also volunteer as an Overseas Committee Member for USA Girl Scouts Overseas, supporting the growth and development of Girl Scouts in military communities abroad. I have more than three years of experience in the nonprofit sector, where I have honed my skills in communication, operational planning, and conflict resolution. I am passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in the world.
