As a writer/producer on the OMA's member editorial communications team, I'm responsible for timely and responsive news delivery and editorial content development on a range of communications platforms for the OMA's 43,000 physician members. This work includes producing digital stories, print magazine articles, newsletters and podcast episodes. - Delivering a consistently high standard of news (writing, editing, videos, audio, app) by leveraging data, trends and analytics, and news of the day, to develop content themes that resonate with the OMA's member audience- Identifying and developing news opportunities for all the OMA's member-facing channels - Supporting the director in designing processes for content development and production- Presenting ideas and recommendations to the director, the senior management team and my colleagues in the Advocacy, Communications and Marketing department on developing integrated content strategies and other initiatives to engage members - Responding to internal requests for production and topic development guidance and support, within the scope of writing, editing and video production- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with the team's roster of vendors to ensure timely execution of creative projects
