Angels Among Us is a nonprofit that provides financial support to families whose children have cancer and are being treated in Nebraska. While paying a monthly bill may seem like a small gesture, to families with sick children, this gesture makes a world of difference. As the Communications Intern, I oversaw all marketing communications strategy.My responsibilities included:— Managing, creating and curating all marketing communications, including social media, event promotions and all published content (images, video and written)— Managing social media marketing strategy and day-to-day activities including writing and scheduling posts— Drafting and editing communications copy (publications, promotions and social media posts)— Preparing annual report; content assembly, copy editing, publication design— Developing all design work: annual report, event promotions, advertisements, infographics, etc.

Trozzolo represents McDonalds' public relations in several states across the midwest, including Nebraska. As the (remote) Public Relations Intern, I worked to find opportunities for activation and community engagement in the Omaha area. My responsibilities included: — Promoting McDonald’s in the Omaha area by hosting activation events on college campuses and at sporting events— Brainstorming ways to engage the community and encourage them to eat at McDonald’s— Designing fliers to coincide with community engagement events

Together a Greater Good (TAGG) connects people, businesses and causes for mutual benefit. By simply downloading the app, users can give back to local causes without spending an extra dime! TAGG will donate a percentage of purchases at over 500 participating businesses in the Omaha and Lincoln areas. As the Graphic Design Intern, I worked with the co-founders to determine the best strategy for promoting TAGG businesses and causes on social media. MaverickPR is a student-run public relations firm, nationally affiliated with the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and sponsored by the School of Communication at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). MaverickPR gives members the opportunity to gain hands-on experience developing integrated marketing campaigns and important professional contacts.
