I have in the past been in charge of balancing multiple large general ledger clearing accounts for banks, sometimes suspense and wire accounts as well. I was to balance the accounts to a zero balance everyday and at the same time ensure every thing that had to be carried on the accounts were being cleared appropriately. I have also been in charge of maintaining and balancing the Certified Checks and corresponding general ledger account. Additionally, I was in charge of stolen, lost, returned checks and ensuring stops, or payments on each. I currently work as a business analyst for a computer software/services company in the Professional Services Department. Our function is to convert our clients data on to our system/software, depending on the project. My particular role, is to set up the clients system administration information which includes but is not limited to values, charges, Index Rate information, FX Currency information, officers, centers and organizational level information. I also have been known to jump around within the initiatives that are currently underway on any given client.
