Currently a junior at the University of North Texas, I am pursuing a degree in Integrative Studies with focuses in Business, Hospitality and Sociology and I plan to graduate in the year 2018. I attended North Central Texas community college for two years out of high school to obtain my Associates degree. My long term goals are to graduate from college with my Bachelor’s degree and to pursue advancement in my current career at the credit union. Words most often used to describe me as a person would be reliable, punctual, creative, generous, and ambitious. I have a strong work ethic, I am organized and I am goal driven. I continually strive for success no matter how many times failure might bring me down. The key to succeeding in life is to keep trying no matter how many obstacles come your way.I have 10 years of experience in the retail industry and one year experience in the banking industry. My career choices thus far have helped tremendously with my communication skills as well as my customer service skills. I have learned many different skills throughout the years including cash handling, bookkeeping, employee training and problem solving. I have also worked hard to move my way up several different positions throughout the course of my career.My personal interests include weightlifting, reading and spending time with my family.Ultimately, I am seeking a responsible position in a supportive environment where I can utilize my skills, abilities and capabilities to help the company grow in value. I am also looking to contribute to an organization’s success in a challenging position utilizing my experience in business, sales, and customer service to generate revenue and innovative ideas.
