Create and manage marketing and public relations initiatives for The Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute (HEMI), Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering (July 2014 - July 2016). This includes:- Managing creation of all publicity materials including, but not limited to: videos, brochures, annual reports, and swag items- Supervising at least one student worker per semester- Creating and executing communications strategies for HEMI and CaSE regarding special events and academic programs- Leading a bi-monthly roundtable for a group of ten Whiting School of Engineering communications representatives- Serving as liaison to Whiting School of Engineering and JHU Central Communications offices to support larger community efforts and garner media coverage for faculty members- Content creation and management of six websites (HEMI, Civil Engr., Mechanical Engr., Center for Materials in Extreme Dynamic Environments (CMEDE), Mach Conference)- Content creation and management of five Facebook pages (HEMI, Center for Materials in Extreme Dynamic Environments (CMEDE), Mach Conference, Civil Engr., Mechanical Engr., Mechancial Engr.
