I believe in the importance of working using an anti-oppressive framework across all disciplines I am engaged in. I am a social justice advocate and theatre-maker, passionate about fostering community and uplifting lived experience stories in my work.In recent years, I completed my certified peer specialist training and was employed at a crisis respite setting, where adults who identified as going through an 'emotional' or 'psychiatric' crisis could seek support in a voluntary, home-like environment.During my training as a drama therapist, I collaborated with various groups in exploring research questions and devising theatre productions using Drama Therapy approaches, and facilitated weekly creative arts groups with put-at-risk youth in schools and other community-based sites.
