During my time as a Copywriter for the in-house Tech Data agency, I collaborated with fellow writers and art directors for event-related branding and theming – resulting in award-winning portfolio pieces. I also researched and developed lead-generation campaigns for Tech Data's Reseller Connect program, as well as scripted a range of videos from brand videos to instructional guides to hype videos. At ChappellRoberts, my main focus as a Junior Copywriter was to take on small-scale projects or campaigns, working with the Senior Copywriter, Project Manager, and Junior Designers to create marketing materials for a range of clients, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, SPCA of Tampa Bay, Mosaic Co., Florida Hospital, Tampa Lowry Park Zoo, Feeding Tampa Bay and Visit Sarasota. Some of the deliverables I completed were video scripts, out-of-home media, social campaigns, guerilla initiatives, rebrands and event theming.

For two months I interned as a Copywriter for Mullen Lowe at the Winston-Salem location. I studied under and collaborated with the Marketing Manager, my intership mentor, and several Senior Copywriters for brands such as Ulta, Food Lion, CSX and Pep Boys. Under their tutelage I helped produce radio scripts, social media posts, brand tag lines, and print campaigns.I also partook in a group-focused intern competition in an effort to create and brand our own company based upon an existing Mullen Lowe client. In the end, my group was the winner of the competition for best marketing plan, materials and direction.

As part of my first internship at the Sarasota-based PR and communications agency—Nickel Communications—I wrote fashion-inspired blogs for TreborStyle, as well as actively posted on social media including Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube, and headed their entry in the local Social Media Madness Competition.We also took part in StartUp Tampa Bay over the course of three days, creating, branding, marketing and pitching an App that could change the local community. Our team won Community Choice and Third Place overall.
