Hello! I'm an entrepreneur, strategist, and nonprofit exec whose work is centered on creating equity, justice, and prosperity, especially for those most marginalized by U.S. policies and systems. I am currently on sabbatical. Most recently, I was the Executive Director of Start.coop, a 501(c)3 focused building a more equitable and resilient economy by cultivating the next generation of cooperative businesses. I hold a number of other roles: - Digital Luminary with the Omidyar Network- Fellow at the Post Growth Institute- Executive Member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences- Judge in The Webby Awards- Elected board member of Ampled - Advisor at Ownership Matters- Founder of a sustainability startup, Island Eats MV- Investor in 15 early stage startups and 2 early stage funds. I have extensive experience leading innovation ventures in the social and public sectors -- from nonprofits to philanthropy to social enterprise. My previous roles include founding a social impact consulting firm and directing a portfolio of social innovation labs at Harvard University.
