As a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience, I am passionate about fostering innovative and effective teaching methodologies. My journey in education spans secondary school teaching, university-level instruction at the School of Education, and, for the past six years, a focus on the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. Currently, I teach "Individuals and Societies" within the Middle Years Programme and "Theory of Knowledge" in the Diploma Programme at an esteemed IB school.In addition to my teaching roles, I serve as an advisor for both years of the Diploma Programme and bring extensive experience in "concept-based inquiry teaching and learning." As an examiner for the "Extended Essay - World Studies," I rigorously uphold academic standards and support student research excellence.Curriculum development is my true passion. I am currently designing a two-year "International Relations" course for students aged 14 to 16, aiming to broaden their global perspectives and critical thinking skills. My expertise extends into the realm of educational technology, where I have pioneered the integration of Oculus and metaverse platforms in the classroom. This innovative approach not only enhances student engagement but also prepares them for a future in a technologically advanced world.Beyond classroom teaching, I am dedicated to teacher training and coaching. Over the past ten years, I have facilitated numerous professional development workshops (in both public and private schools), focusing on the implementation of new technologies and innovative teaching methodologies. My role in staff development and team management has allowed me to cultivate a collaborative and progressive educational environment.In my continuous pursuit of educational excellence, I engage in ongoing research with universities and public entities, contributing to the advancement of educational practices. My leadership skills are evidenced by my ability to manage teams effectively, develop comprehensive lesson plans, and lead school initiatives.
