Share Art Heal is an Austin Texas based 501c3 non profit organization providing art supplies and instruction to people of all ages with the intended purpose of exposing them to the healing experience of creating art.We produce corporate team building and community service events with business partners like Whole Foods Market, Amazon, Farmer's Insurance, Verb, Brock Allen Casting, Austin Police Department Office of Community Liaison, Art for the People Gallery and others. At our Art Kit Days we assemble our Share Art Heal art kits. We deliver our art kits each month to Dell Children's Medical center, quarterly to Helping Hand Home and DePelchin Children's Center for foster children, and to AGE of Central Texas, The City of Austin Congregate Meal Program with Meals on Wheels and to the Resiliency Art Room for Soldiers at Fort Hood.Since 2016 we have been bringing art and local artists to work with the students of the Austin Police Department Summer Youth Leadership Program. The month long program is a partnership with the Austin Police Department and Austin Independent School District. Our curriculum has included mosaics, painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, creative writing and performance.Artwork created by the students with local artists have been exhibited in The People's Gallery at City Hall, The Long Center's 701 Gallery, Frost Bank and in schools and business in Austin.We've been a sponsor of Dell Children's Trust's Art of Giving Fundraiser since 2015. We provide the canvases! This year 17 artists spent the day making art with patients and families. The artwork created was pre sold to corporate sponsors raising $180,000 in 2019 for the Art and Music Therapy Programs at the hospital.
