Bronco Student Center Operations Manager
CurrentLead day-to-day operations for the safe use of the BSC, maintaining student-centric, user-friendly spaces. Provide strategic vision for the Games Room, including equipment checkout and revenue services. Recruit, train, supervise, and develop Operations Supervisors, Building Managers, and Operations Attendants. Plan, prioritize, and review the work of all BSC operations staff. Develop and manage the University’s lost and found services, including auctions to fund the ASI Basic Needs Scholarship. Enforce safety policies and guidelines for the student union and recreation center. Manage facility access and security using the Keywatcher Management System. Facilitate emergency response training for all BSC operations staff. Track and report accident and incident trends; implement preventative safety measures. Manage accident and incident reporting protocols and follow-up procedures. Procure and inventory safety equipment and game room supplies. Administer the BSC Operations budget, preparing cost estimates and justifications for operational needs and capital improvement projects. Implement short and long-term facility operations goals in collaboration with the BRIC Operations FT. Track facility usage trends to determine student-centric business hours and utilization of the Games Room. Foster communication and coordination with lessees to ensure a seamless experience for students and the campus community. Assist with major and minor BSC capital projects. Support efficient facility operations through strategic planning, assessment, and reporting. Ensure compliance with risk management requirements of CSU, Cal Poly Pomona, and Federal and State regulations. Participate in campus-wide collaborations serving the mission of ASI and the University. Serve on campus boards and committees and system-wide associations. Act as an ambassador for ASI at the university, state, regional, and national levels.
