I am a Technical Writer, Illustrator, and Data Analyst with nearly 20 years of experience in a number of fields, including Warehousing and Distribution, Energy, Software, and Healthcare Devices. I was displaced from my latest permanent role by the COVID-19 pandemic, not unlike many of my fellow Americans. I love learning new things and solving problems. Here, I have pitched in to help create a strong start-up company by designing schematics for a 4'x8' professional plasma table, converting them to actionable Drawing Exchange Formats, operating the plasma table to cut the parts from varying materials, and even finishing those parts with tools of the metal fabrication trade. I also created the documentation system, as well as business-essential templates, such as maintenance logs, marketing copy, and business data reports. I manage day-to-day office operations and handle bookkeeping, as well.

Produced several analysis tools under the guidance of the Global Pricing and National Pricing Directors for the Pricing and Contracts department at a client location in the Healthcare Manufacturing sector. In addition, I analyzed customer accounts and contracts according to new pricing strategies implemented by the Contract Administration department, including pricing and customers assigned to Group Purchasing Organizations, as well as those not assigned. My most impactful analysis in this role is a Rolling Monthly analysis of the Price Volume Mix using PowerBI and the Data Analysis tools in Microsoft Excel.This is a contract position through Robert Half staffing.

Hired as an Office Administrator, I received a fast promotion after saving the company 960 man hours in the first 3 months and increasing CEI from approximately ≈40% to 73%. I helped the quickly growing company solidify their business processes by creating internal and customer-facing documentation. In addition, I modified data tables in our hosted Oracle inventory database and created business-critical operational reports to help the CEO make major decisions affecting the growth of the business. During my tenure, the company added three new locations and increased revenues by 31% as a direct result of the training documentation, SOPs, and analysis reports I authored while collaborating with all of our national branches and key team members. Some of my key projects include:• Modified hosted Oracle inventory database tables to return data necessary to complete business-critical reports that helped the company decide on the profitable opening of three new national branches• Authored the company’s first SOPs that standardized practices between all national locations, ensuring consistent quality control policies were enacted• Created and/or modified all existing customer-facing documentation, assisting a newly formed Marketing department in cohesive branding• Completed data cleansing process and managed the data cleansing project in preparation for a new inventory database management system, in particular, where serialized assets moved between national branches with business-critical tracking and historical data as rented• Developed a sales tax process that updated each level of cumulative sales tax rates based upon the primary keys of the extended zip code of the transaction location which cleansed and transferred the data into our financial data tables to make sales tax reporting and filing accurate• Supervised Administrative personnel and conducted Training, cycle-bill scripting and processes, and maintained financial records

Majestic Tent and Event was a family company owned by my husband before I joined the team, so I shared all of the duties and responsibilities of a Business Owner. These included but were not limited to, collections, planning, payroll reports, hiring, marketing, all internal/external documentation, and training. I was also responsible for the bookkeeping (including monthly sales tax returns for each parish and the state of Louisiana) in Quickbooks except for Income tax accounting, as well as developing proprietary tangible assets such as the website and product catalog. I implemented several customer relationship management initiatives and grew average monthly revenues by 15% during a national economic depression.

Starting as a Technical Writer, I was promoted to User Interface (UI) Developer and then to Lead UI Developer for our Business Intelligence (BI) suite of products because of my previous experience with BI. I ensured our UI components met client Business and Functional Requirements, wrote and implemented our Quality Assurance protocols, and developed analysis tools in each of the corresponding amenities of the Casino Enterprise industry. I also rigorously documented the tools, as well as created the Data Dictionaries and all end-user documentation, and I participated in creating the Marketing copy for those products.

I was promoted from IT Analyst to Help Desk Administrator and then Systems Administrator, assuming a supervisory position over Help Desk personnel, in addition to overseeing our ERP solution implementation. I was then promoted to Lead Technical Writer and documented highly complex Subsea Control Modules that controlled the operations of subsea manifolds and their components installed on the ocean floor, both for internal installation, training, and troubleshooting, as well as external use by end-users.
