Reduced average and P95 latencies in our analytics service by 50% by removing redundant calls to download certificates, caching AAD tokens, and pooling outgoing connections. 2. Improved an internal microservice's 7-day average outgoing QoS reliability from 99.85 to >99.9 by adding resiliency to outgoing network calls. 3. Identified that a prod watchdog API test was a source of on-call noise. Refactored the service's outgoing call fan-out logic to improve reliability for the API path, and this eliminated the on-call noise. 4. These actions galvanized others on the team to also improve the on-call's quality of life. This helped create a culture of action around reducing on-call noise. Show less

Participated in SOC2 audit evidence collection to show the product follows required controls.- These end-to-end client and server co-dev contributions enabled the team to have a Windows 11 build ready for Private Preview and Public Preview. The partnership was recognized by Microsoft Executives.- Led an effort on the team to secure our supply chain by migrating our ~50 git repositories owned to a new internal platform. Due to the scale an effort, I worked closely with M365 Build teams to cost the effort and ensure they had resourcing to support us.- Integrated my team's web services with the "Because You Played X" ML-based APIs to power the experience on Game Pass clients. - The Console experiment showed a 16.5% lift in CTR. Clicks/UU were also higher per title than Most Popular. - The Top 3 recommendations were spread over ~400 titles, helping GP reach its goal of discovery.- Investigated and reported bugs on customer-facing clients that led to a 60% decrease in traffic to web APIs for gaming scenarios. This also helped reduce cost to downstream web APIs.- Partnered with engineers and PMs from the Edge org to light up new growth scenarios for the Edge browser. The integration enabled our Edge partner team to start driving up key metrics like Primary Browser Monthly Active Devices (PBMAD).- Moved hundreds of C# scripts away from an internal SQL database and into a git repository. This placed core business logic for Xbox, Game Pass, Windows, Office, and Azure scenarios into one durable location and helped improve engineering and change management processes. Show less
