The project running for four years has been put on hold until this project has been completed to bring it under control. The other project has been completed up to version one and is ready for beta testing. Lead five software implementation projects for clients of varied sizes resulting in an average client satisfaction rating of 9.46 out of 10 on project management performance. Projects were taken from requirements gathering to production. Lead 8 major RFP projects that the organization was invited to participate in. Of these eight projects two are currently open, three have declined, one has entered into a contract with the organization, and we are the frontrunner on the final RFP, based on feedback from the client the organizations only major risk is the cancelation of the project. This led to not only the development new product offerings, such as an online survey system and a GPS route tracking system designed for the developing world, but also the creation of a technological sister firm.Based on the results of our pilot program the decision was made to adjust the organization’s strategy to target international markets. This slight adjustment in strategy led to projects in Afghanistan, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Algeria, and a perpetual contract in Azerbaijan. GORBI also required the development of a risk mitigation plan for their data and hardware. A plan was developed that included creating redundancy for their data. Many clients of social research require that the data be maintained in perpetuity for trending purposes. Based on this GORBI stores data locally and on a weekly basis and now backs all data up on CDs and servers located in the United States. This provides a significant level of redundancy and risk mitigation. Acting project manager for a collaborative project between GORBI, ORB, E-World, and two local research firms for a project conducted in Afghanistan. The first requirement for this project was to assess the risk of using our GIS system in Afghanistan. The use of electronic devices in Afghanistan can place the interviewers at risk especially in regions controlled by the Taliban. Our system was developed with this risk in mind and was designed to be inconspicuous. At the same time we analyzed the risk of areas within Afghanistan to determine areas where the risk threshold warranted alternative means of gathering PSU data. This dedication to risk mitigation led to no problems during the research and the gathering of coordinates for a large portion of the Primary Sampling Units. Show less
