As an ASA in the Technology & Innovation Department, I develop and maintain the City's Enterprise Content Management system. The SIRE ECM platform maintains the City's Agendas as well as other City related documents (Police Department, Hydrants, Construction Drawings) that are stored and processed under a paperless system. Development includes the creation of web based forms and the creation of Workflows, and the .Net scripts to handle them, while maintaining good documentation in code. Additional responsibilities include working with clients within the city and providing solutions through a Trouble Ticketing System.

A software engineer for a small company with a large footprint that specializes in mobile platform software and is a general contractor that trains and assists ARL, AFRL, and SOF to name a few. As a member of the software development team various projects were developed and implemented, such as a geospatial program for Windows, and a GPS embedded Raspberry Pi that has been used for diverse sub projects. Additionally, a requirement as a developer for the geospatial program was to operate the Aerovironment Raven RQ-11B small Unmanned Aerial System

I was awarded a Graduate Research Assistantship at the Unmanned Systems Lab (now called Unmanned Research Institute), where I researched and worked on autonomous vehicles, primarily fixed-wing aircraft. I was in a Masters program at the university and successfully defended my Masters thesis in October 2012. Additionally I worked as a Teacher Assistant for the Electrical and Computer Engineering department as well as the Mechanical Engineering department. I was privileged to create two laboratory curriculum supplementing the Controls lecture for the Electrical Engineering students.

When I first started working at Circuit City I was a sales person in the Technology Department (Laptops, Desktops, and Cameras) and then promoted to PC Technician when PC repair was introduced. Due to a product knowledge shortage, I was asked to work in Electronics (Music, Movies, Games, Portable Devices, etc) and then in the Televisions and Home Theater. My final position was in Customer Service where after my tenure there, I felt at home. It was comfortable and something I enjoyed doing. My experience at Circuit City taught me how to sell, but more importantly how to be patient. People are different and have different needs, it was the most valuable lesson I have ever learned.
