My technical knowledge is used to support our 700 staff members and 4500 students. This includes but is not limited to project management,, implementation, installation, upgrades and support for business, payroll, human resources, state student accounting and security software and associated devices. Hardware support includes Windows desktops, handheld devices (IOS, Chromebooks, etc), virtual environments, enterprise switches (Cisco), next generation firewalls, content filter appliances, security devices, wireless appliances and more. Additional knowledge and experience includes Cisco IP phone systems, analog lines, network cabling, wireless access points, library automation system, backup and restore software, grant management, project design, documentation and data integration. I effectively manage desktop technicians and guide them with extended tasks. Security protection is maintained through traffic and virus monitoring. I have been an employee safety assistant and project administrator for federal REMS (Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools) grant. Additional security systems I have designed and management is a WAN IP camera system.

One of my larger projects was to replace the business and student management systems for our school district. I researched and recommended the best suited product that was later adopted. I converted data and implemented software that integrated human resources, business and finance departments, employee benefits, food service, state student accounting, fixed assets, community correspondence, emergency calling system and more. This software has been used continuously for almost 10 years and still leads the market in features, ease of use and cost savings. This software is self-hosted on a virtual environment I helped deploy for our server farm. My backup design included remote site storage and emergency preparedness for storms.Our police force has been composed of city officers and police chiefs. Supporting duties include maintaining and support CJIS policies plus conforming to the policies for safe and secure office access. One of the many video systems I maintain includes storage for body cameras, campus area coverage and secure monitoring of special sections.The secure networking components I oversee are firewalls, content filters and security appliances. Connection devices include routers, switches, 400 access points and voice systems.I have migrated to Google Suites for Education. This was recommended for the wonderful modules available for the education field. I have written several apps and deploy many though the Google console.Areas worth mentioning include signage from a basic LED sign up to a 44 foot by 16 foot billboard for sporting events.My current project involves correction and updates to 5000 plus accounts for single sign on implementation. I have setup conduits and APIs to integrate 3rd party software with our main system. This simplifies account management plus provides a secure and user friendly environment for our numerous users. This follows the logic I have built to automate data extractions used to update remote systems automatically.
