Integrate college initiatives into the mission and services of campus Learning Resources, especially the College’s commitments to retention, completion, and overall academic success.Provide leadership and direct supervision for the Learning Resources department at the Seminole Campus, consisting of a diverse team of 20 people, and contribute to the college-wide mission for the department through the Learning Resources Leadership Team.Budget, plan, implement, direct, and evaluate services, programs, resources, material collections, and personnel within the library and learning center.Communicate regularly with campus Provost, Associate Provost, Academic Department Chairs, and faculty regarding learning resources initiatives and evaluation of program needs and effectiveness.Collaborate with faculty to infuse library and tutoring resources into the classroom and create a welcome learning environment for classes and faculty in the learning center.Track, evaluate, analyze and report data of facility and service usage in a student-focused environment of constant data-informed assessment and improvement.Engage in outreach/liaison work, marketing and communications, and event planning to benefit the college and students and enhance the college experience.Nurture and strengthen community partnerships by writing long range plans, interpreting and complying with the Joint-Use Library Intergovernmental Agreement, serving on the library advisory board, and attending community events.Lead and drive technology use and improvement in support of high-impact instruction and information literacy practices, to include leveraging the iLab, a makerspace for innovation in the joint-use library, featuring a 3D printer, virtual reality programs, and robotics kits for hands-on technology exploration and out-of-classroom learning.

Designed, delivered and assessed information literacy instruction, both face-to-face and online using best practices and appropriate instructional technology.Performed general and subject-specific reference and research services, both face-to-face and online (chat, e-mail, SMS, webinar, phone) to a diverse population of students, faculty, and community patrons.Provided materials, research and instructional support for faculty to promote student success and instructional excellence. Managed statewide online collaborative library chat reference service, “Ask a Librarian”.Planned, developed, presented, and assessed online service provider training for librarians throughout Florida. Collected, analyzed and created reports of service data for grant reporting, internal and external marketing, and decision making.Provided technical troubleshooting and ongoing customer service support for librarians and end users of the online service.Fostered buy-in from librarians and administrators who were new to online services or reluctant participators.Led working group committees and advisory board while maintaining relationships with key partners to further the goals of the project.
