Responsible for marketing the Wylie Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to companies and developers located outside the area, supporting existing business expansions, promoting retail development and identifying redevelopment opportunities.

Responsible for marketing Longview Economic Development Corporation (LEDCO) to companies located outside of the area, site selection consultants, corporate real estate asset managers, investors, developers and brokers across the country, to attract the location of new primary businesses in Longview.Responsible for internal auditing of active projects as well as overseeing the lead generation and overall prospect development process. I worked directly with our regional economic development groups and our state partners at Team Texas, the Governor's Office and TexasOne. I was a member of IAMC, TEDC, IEDC, SEDC, NTCAR and ICSC.

I developed close relationships with hundreds of projects and assisted even more in their building/site and incentive searches. Duties included, cold-calling, data-collection, information analysis, site/building comparisons and reporting back to company executives, consultants and brokers. Helped to communicate the project requirements, status updates, planned site visits and announcements throughout the entire WEDA Network of over 70+ economic development clients. In addition to my basic duties/responsibilities I also assisted in trade show planning, development of new strategies, implementation of new marketing programs, business development and overall daily management of all business functions.

Provided strategic, targeted marketing for a broad range of economic development organizations from across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Conducted national advertising through multiple mediums such as, print advertising, direct mail, trade shows, marketing missions, email campaigns, web design, and multiple applications for banner advertising. Provided economic development clients with daily and weekly detailed information pertaining to new sales opportunities, upcoming trade shows, status of projects, and schedule of events.
