I work within our Business Services team, working closely with a wide range of companies, directors and individuals running business of various sizes from owner managed businesses to large international groups. I generally advise on all aspects of corporate/commercial matters, company law and corporate governance issues (including various forms of complex restructuring, assisting with the implementation of employee share schemes, mergers, acquisitions, and disposals, in addition to general commercial arrangements and agreements).In addition to the work referred to above, I have developed a specialism in acting for clients within the sports sector, gaining a particular expertise in football related matters and acting on a wide variety of matters on behalf of both clubs and individuals.I prefer to use a practical and straightforward approach when dealing with clients (free of legal jargon) and this has been key in enabling me to maintain excellent long-term relationships. It is important to me that I am able to provide clients with a high standard of service, understanding that not each client's standards, demands and needs are the same.
