I attended Launch Academy, a full-time+ immersive web development bootcamp where I learned in-depth principles of Object Oriented Programming and Test-Driven Development. The primary languages of the course were Javascript, HTML, and CSS, which I used to build web apps in a Node/Express/PostgreSQL/React Monolith, with Knex SQL query builder and Objection ORM for database interactions, as well as third-party API integration. I developed projects as part of a group and individually in an Agile development environment using Pair Programming and GitHub version control.

I started at PSAV as an A/V Technician in 2015 and became a Director of Event Technology by 2020. My responsibilities as a technician included setting up, striking, and maintaining a variety of A/V equipment as well as operating equipment during live events. As a Director, I led the A/V department at a suburban hotel. I was responsible for all sales and meeting budget requirements, coordinating with hotel staff, purchasing and upgrading equipment, and leading a team of technicians.

I worked as a freelance Production Assistant on several high-budget films and television shows, as well as hundreds of commercials filmed around the Boston area. I was responsible for facilitating communication between various crew departments, transporting film equipment, and assisting crew members with their technical duties.
