I initially joined this regional transportation services firm as a driver, then earned multiple promotions (lead dispatcher, accounts payable clerk, office manager) into Director of Operations (2009). I've learned every aspect of business operations from the ground up and serve as a key strategic partner to the founder and CEO. Today, I focus on motivating and supporting drivers and staff in delivering exceptional customer service, and on streamlining processes to maximize efficiency and profits. I also direct billing and A/P and implement company-wide cost-cutting measures.✔ Drove an 80% improvement in cashflow (2016) by restructuring and modernizing the company’s invoicing processes and accounts payable team. ✔ As lead dispatcher, implemented a program that reduced accidents by nearly 100%. Designed and launched a driver’s awards program that promotes safety, and training curriculum that educates new hires on defensive driving. Efforts have taken at-fault accidents to near-zero across 18 years.✔ Optimized routes to maximize # of trips per day, with a relative few drivers. As lead dispatcher, routed 140 trips per day with only 20-21 drivers – the highest performance rates in company history.✔ Delivered annual sales increases of ~ 5%- 25% annually by actively participating in marketing, lead generation and business development efforts.
