Meta FinTech, B2B Payments InfrastructureWorked on Meta's backend payments infrastructure where I helped scale their global billing services responsible for processing +$100 billion in transactions yearly and worked to expand systems to support additional products (e.g. Instagram creator monetization)

Realtime Monitoring· Conducted experiments and analyzed data to identify and address performance issues in a time series query engine, resulting in improved efficiency and reliability.· Added logic to distribute query processing across multiple machines to enable larger queries in an easily scalable fashion.

Development Infrastructure· Created a new UI that enabled developers to manage their temporary development servers.· Enabled proactive server expiration by monitoring developer activity and improved error handling on server disconnect.· Built a generic notification channel between temporary development servers and IDE clients, allowing servers to communicate their state to the currently connected client.

SmarterAds Team· Developed an admin web application for their syndicated ad network.· Implemented an application for the Tripdavisor Intern Hackathon that could recommend Boston attractions for users based on their past review history using collaborative filtering.
