Utilising old and new manufacturing methods to ensure production ran smoothly in batch production of parts down to fabrication of bespoke machinery, architectural elements and structural fabrications. Working for an SME lean production was crucial and developing methods for cost efficient fabrication and material processing was a top priority.Moving onto work on varying projects within the water sector. On framework contracts both as tier 1 and 2, taking a multi-disciplinary approach working across mechanical, electrical, process, chemical & civil disciplines.Heading up a team of CAD Technicians managing design outputs, resources, scheduling and peer reviews.Overseeing the implementation and control of design and drafting standards. Best practices and continual development and research into technology for working smarter.Then leading the implementation of BIM into the business across all national offices. ensuring a lean and smart approach is adopted. Introducing procedures, process and policy that align with standard BIM processes and client’s requirements.Now working for an SME responsible for deign engineering of specialist formwork and construction related fabrications. From simple column formwork to advanced fully bespoke systems used in large infrastructure projects.Responsible for the design, engineering, calculations and drawing outputs and additionally assisting with social media presence and being Integrated both in the office and shop floor teams.
