Gwynns Falls Elementary School

I worked at an elementary school teaching computers and technology to students in grades Pre-K - 5. Additionally, I helped teachers use technology to support their students and was in charge of testing and data analysis.

Baltimore City Public Schools

I worked in the Information Technology department on the Instructional Support Team to develop plans for implementing instructional technology tools.

I taught 4th grade Reading and Social Studies at Gwynns Falls Elementary School in Baltimore, MD as a part of the 2009 Teach for America Corps.

While working for the Public Affairs Department, I was a teaching assistant for four different classes. I taught the Introduction to Web Design class for two semesters which included creating my own syllabus and leading the class two times a week. I also graded papers and worked with the students one-on-one. As Webmaster, I managed the main Public Affairs.

While interning at the Hagerstown Herald-Mail I wrote more than 30 articles, 12 of which ran on the front page. In addition to working for the news desk I also was the first intern to work on the digital media team. I helped in the re-design process of the newspaper's Web site and also provided input for the development of new social media Web sites.
