As an economist with a PhD and extensive experience in data analysis and causal analysis, I have dedicated my career to exploring the intricacies of labor economics, gender equality, income equality, and development economics. My work is driven by a passion for understanding and addressing the socio-economic challenges that shape our world.Currently, I am part of the Social Modelling and Analysis Division at Statistics Canada, where I contribute to the development of the Social Policy Simulation Database and Model (SPSD/M). This sophisticated microsimulation model is instrumental in analyzing the distributional impacts of tax and transfer policies across Canadian households, providing valuable insights for policy development.I am proficient in several statistical software tools, including R, STATA, and SAS, which I leverage to conduct rigorous quantitative analysis and develop complex models.
