As an Executive Committee Member of Sierra Youth, I am responsible for shaping Sierra Youth's direction and governance and engaging membership with respect to various environmental issues.

During my time with the Sierra Club Prairie Chapter I conducted extensive scientific/environmental research and wrote reports summarizing findings. Additionally, I communicated complicated information accessibly via blogs on the Sierra Club website. Part of this role requires ensuring the membership was informed via the newsletter (i.e. CiviCRM) and social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter), as well as planning and attending events for community members. Lastly, to expand our reach in the community, I developed a social enterprise model for fee-based programs.
