Project: Web Cloud Storage System (WCS).Description: WCS is a web-based application like Dropbox and it allows users to store photos, documents, videos and other files. The files clients store in WCS are safely backed up, fast to access through our worldwide acceleration nodes and easy to operate platform by using RESTful tools.Technology: J2EE, Maven, Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, MongoDB, REST, Git and Junit.Team Size: 8Roles & Responsibilities: My major responsibility was working on image operating, authority controlling, file prefetching, customize file upload feedback and defect fixing. Designed and implemented image operation such as resize, convert format, crop, rotate and watermark. Adherence to coding standards, IT best practices, SDLC and Change Management processes. Wrote test tools for QA team to verify features that I have implemented. Coordinated with QA team on improving Test Data Repository by updating Test Cases. Participated in code and design review. Involved not only in analyzing the bug or development of solution but also proposed the solutions or new design in technical meeting. Supported the peers who are new to our team.

Project: Log Analysis PlatformDescription: This project is a cloud computing platform for analyzing logs of other functional teams’ products to improve their services. Other teams store their logs, running MapReduce application and Hadoop Eco-system application to process these logs on the platform.Technology: Hadoop, HBase, ZooKeeper, MapReduce, Nagios, Jenkins and Shell Script.Team Size: 4Roles & Responsibilities: Involved in all the phases of SDLC cycle including requirements analysis, build and platform optimization. Responsible for writing shell scripts that deploy and upgrade platform automatically. Provided fixes for production by reproducing the issues in development, found the root cause for socket leak issue using debugging techniques.https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-5671 As a DevOps maintained, monitored platform by using Nagios, worked along with teams, assisted them with technical difficulties and provided solutions to the issues. Developed technical and operational support documentation for teams. Ensured compliance to project delivery schedules. Actively participated in bug triage meeting, set up testing environment & performed sanity check on the application. Conducted need based training sessions for team members aligned to project requirements.

Project: Distribute Storage Platform (DSP)Technology: GlusterFS (Gluster File System), C, Jenkins, Shell Script and TDDDescription: This platform provides scalable storage for existing download acceleration application. Platform guaranteed application can write continuously even some hard disks were offline.Team Size: 3Roles & Responsibilities: Research & development for technical implementation of DHT (Distributed Hash Table) module, providing solution technical limitation of project.  Audited, reviewed the code and provided valuable feedback optimizing codes. Creating test cases for TDD (Test Driven Development).  Ensured a working module is ready before each sprint delivery date. Mentoring the newly joined team interns. Coordinated with team members for coding, unit testing, peer review, Integration testing and System testing.
