An enthusiastic material scientist and trained chemist with expertise in the design, fabrication, optical and electrical characterization of semiconductors based on functional nanoscale materials for optoelectronics, including photodetectors, photovoltaics, FETs, and LEDs.• Hands-on experience in nanofabrication skills, including E-beam/Photolithography, and thin-film coating in clean room environment.• Proficient in laser-based optics and materials characterization: Ultrafast pump-probe spectroscopy, Optical dark/bright field microscopy, Time-resolved confocal fluorescence microscopy, Single-molecule microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, Electron microscopes (TEM/EDS, SEM).• Hands-on experience of the design, fabrication, characterization, performance testing and data analysis in photovoltaics, field-effect transistors (FETs), and LEDs.• Fabrication of low-dimensional nanomaterials: 1-D TiO2 nanotubes array, ZnO nanowires, 2-D nanosheets (Graphene, MoS2, etc.).• In-depth knowledge of analytical chemistry, polymer chemistry, inorganic chemistry, surface science, optical microscopy, and semiconductor device physics.
