- To design and establish the internal practice, measures, procedures and controls relevant to the prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing during the new client on-boarding process;- To detect, record and evaluate all risks arising from existing and new clients, new financial instruments and services and update and amend the systems and procedures applied by the Company for the effective management of the aforesaid risks;- To provide advice and guidance to the employees of the Company on subjects related to compliance with applicable laws; - To review and update the policies and procedures as may be required from time to time, and for such updates to be communicated to the Board for their approval;- To monitor and assess the correct and effective implementation of the policies and procedures and the implementation of the Company’s internal manuals;- To apply appropriate monitoring mechanisms which provide the necessary information for assessing the level of compliance of the departments and employees of the Company with the procedures and controls in force;- To provide appropriate guidance for corrective measures and where necessary report of shortcomings / weaknesses in the application of policies, measures, procedures and controls; - To review and assess on-going monitoring of daily, weekly and monthly and client exception reports and ensure any issues raised are investigated;- To acquire the knowledge and skills required for the improvement of the appropriate procedures for recognising, preventing and obstructing any transactions and activities that are suspected to be associated with money laundering or terrorist financing;- To assist the Compliance Manager in preparing an annual employee training program and determine the Company's departments and employees that need further training and education for the purpose of preventing Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing and organise appropriate training sessions/seminars;
