Sr.Process Engineer
CurrentA. Process Engineering 1. Focuses on early involvement with the high speed telecom/datacom optical subassembly product design/development function to influence design characteristics for improved manufacturing efficiency and reliability. Especially focus on the front end process as fine pitch & heavy Au/Copper/Al wire bond(ball bond and wedge bond) process.2. Develop and document process flow and Assembly processes, which include process sheets, operating procedures, spare parts lists and preventative maintenance plan, cost models and quality plans.3. Define the process steps and sequence of operations, material handling, process control needs and preliminary process layouts.4. Formulate the process step cycle times, efficiencies, yields and step relationships to include dynamic modelling as required for process and line balance assumptions. (Arrangement, Rates, Balance, Yield, Utility, Capacity)5. Prepare preliminary process specification, equipment and systems specifications.6. Involved in Product/Process FMEA and risk assessment activities.7. Develop specifications and operational justifications for acquisition of major tooling.8. Design prototypes of specific tools and equipment to execute (and validate) a defined technique that would ultimately support manufacturing requirements.B. Project Engineering1. Interfaces with vendors, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing to assure capability and/or compliance in meeting tooling, machine, and product timing objectives. (Example: tool/machine reliability, Cpk values and timing commitments).2. focuses on bringing together and organizing resources, tasks and assignments to keep projects on time, on schedule and on budget. Ability to search out equipment (test and automation) as required developing cost effective process
