Responsible for managing the timely provision of high quality, cost effective training and development to Trust staff, within budget; identification of training needs at organisational, local and individual level; co-ordination of accredited programmes training for General Offending Behaviour Tutors, programme design and delivery across a wide range of subject areas including offender management, management development, organisational development and change management; implementation of large scale roll-outs including SEEDS, TR Awareness and E&D; preparation and delivery of an annual Staff Development Plan - budget responsibility £70k, production of timely activity reports for Senior Management; quantitative and qualitative measurement of training; responsibility for PQF including recruitment and selection of Learners; completion of SARs; design and implementation of induction programmes, policy development and line management of 2 admin staff, PQF Assessor/IV and Training Officer. Achievements include:• Leading on Investors in People re-accreditation June 2013, achieving prestigious ‘Gold’ award• Successful feedback following internal audit of training and development provision, by MoJ in 2013, achieving overall rating of ‘Green’ with no action points.• Managing the successful roll-out of several large whole service training events including DELIUS, implementation and delivery of SEEDS, working with Health partners to provide Personality Disorder Training to OMs to support NOMS funded pathways, and leading on the delivery of TR training in order to prepare staff for the transition into the new CRC structures from 1 June 2014, within timescale.• Organisation and co-ordination of a large multi-agency conference on Working with Female Offenders; securing key note speakers from NOMS Women’s Unit, the Prison Reform Trust and local Police and Crime Commissioners• Design, implementation and delivery of the Trust’s Aspiring Managers Development Programme

Responsibility for the management and co-ordination of the central training and development function; managing a team of eight admin staff to support the day to day planning, preparation, delivery, evaluation and recording of professional skills training delivery to approx 4800 staff across two acute/community hospitals; implementation of Agenda for Change, ‘Skills for Life’ support and NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework; co-ordination and delivery of adaptation programmes for oversees recruitment of nurses; responsibility for the delivery of Organisational Induction programmes for new employees and provision of Health & Safety training including delivery of personal safety and des-escalation training; delivery and co-ordination of central management development programme; facilitation of assessment centres including assessment and coaching support for vocational qualifications and Modern Apprenticeship schemes; part of a multi-disciplinary team implementing improvements in clinical processes via lean management; ensuring the Trust met its statutory training requirements in accordance with the Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts (CNST) and Risk Pooling Scheme for Trusts (RPST).Contract to deliver personal safety training to TNEYAS Paramedic Training Programme.

Provision of admin support to the CEO, Executive Team and Trust Board. Specific support to Board Chair, Director of Clinical Services and CEO including cover for PA to CEO; tasks included general admin and clerical duties, preparation and collation of papers for Board and Executive meetings and secretarial support to the Director of Clinical Services. Responsibility for the co-ordination of organisational conferences on behalf of the CEO, liaising with clinical and non clinical directors and senior clinical staff on the design and delivery of conference content.
