North Lake Development (Olde Village Pointe) is a small multi use property in Lantana, Florida on the Intracoastal.. My responsibilities included all aspects of keeping the office running efficiently, contracts, proposals, work-orders, correspondence, subcontractor insurance, lien releases, municipal correspondence and permitting. I processed and paid the overhead for the office. Responsibilities included handling all issues through the completion of the condo's, and retail spaces, as well as warranty issues after completion. I worked very closely with the President of the Company, as his Executive Assistant. I also worked with our Subcontractors and Property Management Company. Duties included tracking the effectiveness of our customer service department, while keeping our customers up to date on the progress of their home, correcting and resolving issues, preparing change orders, plan review and color selection. .During color-out selection, my responsibilities included selling upgrades to the homeowner as well as assisting them in their selection of their finishing products for their home. My departments responsibilities included ensuring that our Warranty Department completed issues in a timely manner, while our customer was completely satisfied with the end results. I handled customer pre-walks and final walks. My priority is Customer Satisfaction, while keeping company policy intact. I also enjoy dealing with the public, and being creative. My interest in this field blossomed when I was employed by Jay Vee Stores of California as junior sportswear buyer. The corporate office was in Gardenia, California, owning 55 stores in the western United States. I bought junior. sportswear for all 55 stores, along with our New York buyer. Our test order was 10 dozen for our best test stores, storewide was 50-100 dozen or more, depending on how strong I thought the body of the garment would perform. I was employed at Jay Vee for 8 years until they were bought out by Venture Stores, who retained their own employees.
