Associate Director, Undergraduate Admissions, Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant MI 2018 – PresentSteer end-to-end operations associated with events, visits, and team management. Spearhead recruitment of domestic undergraduates, overseas undergraduates, and graduate students through targeted campus visits. Direct strategic planning of annual visit and event encompassing enrollment targets and metrics for each particular event. Lead campus visits and events as well as in-person and online recruitment/orientation activities for undergraduate students and their families to attract thousands of students and guests annually. Deliver exceptional support in creating and implementing admissions marketing and communication materials for campus visits and events. Evaluate assessment needs and report to the Executive Director of Admissions and executive management. Coordinate with university's communications and public relations departments in increasing exposure of institution.● Maximized recruitment and registration databases through adequate technological solutions.● Represented university to various internal and external audiences, including prospective students and families.● Proactively supervised 20 direct and indirect professional/support employees and 35 undergraduate student staff members, while overseeing $3M budget for admissions.● Attracted and retained diverse/competent undergraduate student body through development and implementation of innovative strategies and programs, including recruitment, selection, admission, enrollment, and transition.● Accomplished university enrollment targets by utilizing longitudinal and current year data as well as enrollment management system to identify, qualify and target students.

Developed operational policies and procedures as well as implemented necessary modifications to those policies and procedures based on demographic data analysis. Led all aspects of policy creation, system design, and financial management.● Successfully planned and executed significant recruitment events on campus, securing participation from 6 academic institutions and 20 student service departments.● Promoted Central Michigan University by building and fostering strong internal and external alliances with a variety of groups, including industry, government, and secondary education.

Strategized short-/long-term plans for generating cost-effective and sustainable revenue streams, while delivering community-based mission outcomes. Planned, coordinated, and built a $1.3M medical facility to spay and neuter animals from low-income families.● Successfully doubled the revenue generated at two large fundraising events within first year of employment.● Secured more than $350K in grant funding and ensured compliance by auditing grant and contract expenses.
