From there I went to retail at an art supply store called Larson's Arts and Crafts in Glen Ellyn, Ill. When I moved to Oregon I became an auto paint color-eye-matching expert and delivery driver. My eye for shades of color was my gift! From there I became a line cook and soon a kitchen manager at The Valley Restaurant. I did every shift, cooking, stock control, hiring and firing and was one of the very first caterers of whom now that owner is flourishing in her catering business. I created the protocol for catering for the stars who came to town, not only cooking their requested meals but personalizing their dressing rooms for them and running personal errands. I was asked to "hop on the bus" with several famous bands that I hold dear in my heart today! I worked in Alaska as an "egg puller" and soon became the "head Egg Puller on the #1 chink, training in the new girls. From there I was an egg packer, a caviar grader, a slimer on the troll line as well as extra help making pallets and so on. I was a part-owner of an antique store called "Jack and Jill's Junque". And I'm a ghost hunter and an artist! Whew!
