 Project Development – (lead 4 merchandisers)  Set up and supervise China team to streamline the routine operation in a healthy manner. Establish and maintain a TIMELINE based product development tracking system between production (Shanghai) and the creative team (US). Lead team to find and offer more production options in order to come as close to the product specs and requested pricing and MOQ as possible. Supervise team to source multiple vendors and proactively develop new vendors. Set Cost and MOQ review as a routine. Participate in market W/S set up and control GP analysis. Search and fight with infringement which potentially hurts company business. Control on time delivery through QC inspector’s involvement of overseeing production schedule during inline inspection. Develop around 100 to 150 new piecetypes annually, not including company’s conventional hand painted glassware which is with increasing new vessel shapes and is about 200 new designs every year. Product piecetypes range over from glass to fabric. It includes  Glassware / ceramic table top / drinkware of variety material like stainless steel, acrylic and etc. Home decore such as frame, candle, diffuser Jewelry with different material and process, including silver plated zinc alloy, hand made copper, resin, enamel, glass domed and etc. More and more fabric piecetypes are added, such as velveteen zipper cases, canvas totes, satin sachet, terry head band and wrist band, Luxleg (very instresting garment accessory) Paper products include party collection, napkin, stationery as note book, memo and etc. Other unique giftware such as hand painted baby shoes or conventional ones like 4c printed PU luggage tag. Not including the new venders for new piecetypes which are still under PD process and new venders to backup old piecetypes, there are always around 10 to 15 experienced venders on Open PO list, according to different Introduction Season.

 Project Development – (lead 4 merchandisers including 1 merchandising manager)  Manage the team working closely to reach the shipment targets as committed in the annual forecast. Coach and motivate team members for New Products Sourcing and Development / Supplier Development and Maintenance / Communication with buyer in order to interpret requirement into project execution and product development / Resist price increase related to VAT refund, material and RMB influence. Study the trends of related industry and participate to judge possible opportunities by working with US head office buyer team. New contracts negotiation and trouble shooting. Scoring and ranking supplier annual performance based on five basic measurements, inspire supplier to improve daily operation. Team annual sourcing exceeds $15M. Product line includes Glassware / Metal / Wood / Ceramic / Melamine / Resin / Fragrance and etc. Order Follow up – (lead 2 account coordinators)  Monitor team to handle all orders that export from China , ensuring shipment per request; Set up and maintain communications with teams and vendors ; Establish simple but feasible order tracking system to ensure in time notification.

Sourcing Manager Identify and develop China supplier base for BGE and other SMS Group companies’ aggressive China initiative by providing timely responses and effective communication while managing vendor selection, RFQ process for BOM, contract negotiation , order placement, open order tracking, supplier quality, on-time delivery, supplier chain and export transportation. Pro-active lead supplier problem resolution efforts. Use Six Sigma Metholodgy to improve supplier cost, quality and availability including logistics on a continuous basis.  Work with global team to refine supplier certification and qualification process.Office Manager Responsible for set up the Rep. office in Shanghai. Job included office site searching, office decoration, license application and hiring staffs for the region. Responsible for overall guidance and operation of daily activities of BGE Shanghai office; launched and developed a vigorous team based on performance Responsible for coordinating communication and logistics with US headquarters . In direct reporting to the Vice President of BGE, support and assist his overall management effort in China.  Participating in budget planning and responsible for budget control of the Shanghai office.

Finance Manager – Eaton Vickwes Hydraulics Co. Ltd. Responsible of the financial integration of Vickers Hydraulics into Eaton Hydraulics Operations including assests transfer; financial records transfer and reconciliation; tax and other merger related matter. Annual Strategic Business Plan financial update; budget and forecast preparation. In charge of expenditure control and monthly expenses analysis. In charge of capital investment (expenditure) analysis and recommendation Responsible for monthly US GAAP / Eaton system report and communication to HQ. Participated in the implementation of ERP system, QAD - MfgPro. Responsible for I/E business payment terms including L/C negotiation and D/P payment & collection.Report to: Controller Administration Manager of Greater China Headquarters Responsible for the day-to-day administrative control of the regional headquarters; supervising headquarters employees; coordinating communication and logistics with US headquarters and Asia regional management team. In direct reporting to the Greater China Managing Director, support and assist his overall management effort for three businesses and 5 sales offices.  Provide support to the Shanghai sales team also located in the same office facility  Responsible for the planning and preparation of Board meetings, Exhibitions, Sales meetings and other annual major business events for the region. Responsible for budget planning and budget control of the head office. Also serve as Asia examiner for Eaton Business Excellence Assesment (EBEA).Report to: Managing Director of Greater China
