CEO for CAAPS Aboriginal Corporation, an Aboriginal community controlled organisation based in Darwin. Reporting to an Aboriginal Board of Directors who represent their people from across the Territory and the Torres Strait. Responsible for the delivery of services to meet the needs of people and their communities by improving social and emotional wellbeing and providing tools to manage the impact of alcohol and other drugs on families and young people through culturally responsive person centred programs and services.

Leadership and strategic oversight of the delivery of a diverse range of community services within the Northern Territory including Youth Connections, Youth Justice Initiatives, Housing/tenancy support, Homelessness services, Learning Literacy and Numeracy programs, Sobering up Shelters, Post-prison release, Personal Helpers and Mentors, Money Business, Intervention case management, advocacy and emergency relief.

Oversight of Mission Australia Community Services programs within pathways toward healthy children and strong families, and pathways through a successful youth. Programs spanned across Darwin, Tiwi Islands and Arnhem Land along with the eight diverse services delivered in the Katherine Roper Gulf region.

Responsibility for fifteen geographically and operationally diverse programs and projects inc. an independent secondary school, parenting, mentoring, alcohol and other drug rehabilitation and education, regional community outreach, clinical teams and trauma sensitive treatment, transition to independence (leaving care), crisis accommodation and residential out of home care. Major achievements: - Driving the quality improvement process across the agency to achieve Accreditation with the NSW Office for Children, The Children’s Guardian (OCCG) as a residential care provider in 2009.- Leading New Pathways through to finalist status IIlawarra Business Awards for community sector 2010.

Regional Manager for the Southern Highlands. Major achievements:- Establishment of a clinical team to support the behaviour management planning, treatment/ counseling needs of residents and training of staff required to provide care of young people with high support needs.- Establishment of a casework team and compliance framework to ensure service delivers against the out of home care bench mark standards.- Development of policy and procedures to address the need for consistency of practice across residential services to meet the OCCG benchmark standards.

Program Manager responsible for setting up New Pathways residential treatment program for young males with sexual behaviour problems. Responsible for -management and supervision of a multidisciplinary team (inc. psychologist, interns, teacher, caseworkers, coordinator, 25 specialist youth workers and night workers).-oversight of the program by maintaining the integrity of the therapeutic milieu, and the relationships with stakeholders-monitoring operational budget.
