After graduating from Saint Mary's University of Winona, MN with a B.A. in PR and Marketing in 1998, I worked for Shaker Recruitment Advertising & Communications from 1998 to 2005 in their Innovative Media Services department. I focused on all non-print media working with clients on media strategies and negotiating media contracts on their behalf. My responsibilities included short and long term media plans, client consultations and presentations along with RFPs and new business development. I was the Director of Innovative Media Services when I took leave to be home with my children. In 2012, I decided to go back to work as the Director of Marketing and Development at St. Mary of Gostyn in Downers Grove until 2014 when I accepted my current position as Account Manager for J.M. Hawkins, Inc. At Saint Mary of Gostyn, I worked on both development plans and campaigns and oversaw the annual school fundraiser. I also developed recruitment and retention plans and strategies for the school, handled PR functions and oversaw all things related to marketing for St. Mary of Gostyn. At J.M. Hawkins, I oversee the accounting and bookkeeping of small business clients to include doctor's offices and churches in addition to assisting in the management of the J.M. Hawkins office.
