I initially came out of retirement to be the Work Stream Lead for Fixed Assets & Sales to Cash for an upgrade to U4BW, working two days per week for UKAEA. Other areas of Financial Reporting were also covered. Having completed that task, I worked on the rectification of audit findings covering these areas.After a 4 month break over the 2018-19 winter, I'm back again, working two days per week on year end financial accounts. Still there after nearly 3 years, but cut back to one day per week now until year end when I'll probably need to work another day to fit everything in.Update: I've given up work completely now I've got my state pension and bus pass 🙂In my spare time, I am the Finance Officer for my local Community Centre (registered charity), as well as being Treasurer for my local racing pigeon club (flying as a partnership with my husband and oldest son) and Treasurer of the racing pigeon Federation (a group of about 15 clubs) to which our club belongs.
