I’ve gone down the route of “all things dog”. I’ve owned and worked with dogs for 35+ years. I have 4 dogs of my own and they constantly surprise me with how loving and clever they are. I’ve been working as a dog trainer for the last 8 years and have taken a myriad of courses, it’s a never-ending learning curve. My most recent learning has been a mentorship with living legend -Turid Rugaas who has worked with dogs for over 60 years. If I achieve half of her skill level, I will be blessed. I work with puppies, adolescent, adult dogs, rescues and re-homes. I work with clients on an individual basis, run some workshop and on-line webinars. I like to give dogs agency and encourage them to engage in natural behaviours without cues and confinement. Less is so much more for dogs, with the art of doing nothing as the ultimate goal.
