    Re-entry Support: I provided career related advice and counseling to formerly incarcerated individuals through Alvis, a non-profit in Columbus Ohio. My service included helping clients create resumes, conducting mock interviews and providing feedback, and providing instructions on goal setting. I also volunteered with the Legal Aid Society, assisting clients with criminal record sealing requests and drivers license re-instatement. Social Justice: I supported voting rights work through participating in voter registration and was trained and served as an election protection representative for the 2020 election cycle. I also served on the core organizing team for the ACLU of Ohio Action Team, where we conducted community education and conversation around re-entry, state-sanctioned violence, and other social justice issues. Wealth Redistribution: I served as an organizer and volunteer in a grassroots mutual aid group formed in Columbus in March 2020. In this capacity, I was responsible for facilitating the transfer of funds between individuals with means to community members in need. I also worked alongside a small group of organizers from the Ohio chapter of Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) to organize a stimulus redistribution campaign, focused on moving stimulus funds from those with means to organizations led by working class and people of color in Ohio.
