The EPIC Ramp-Up Program is an exciting opportunity for Cloud Success Services Early Professionals to learn more about SAP Cloud Success Services and to take on a leadership role. Through this program, I completed comprehensive training courses and certifications, increased my professional development, and experienced immersive rotations throughout SAP’s Cloud Success Services business. This program furthered my career development and allowed me to bring the necessary skills I've learned to play an essential role in delivering value and success to SAP's customers.

I conducted product marketing research studies to collect qualitative feedback from small business owners that use new and existing Google products to deliver objective insights on user experience and performance to product development teams.

I completed an online Management Consulting internship with South African company Automation Exchange (AEX), where I learned the importance of client commitment by meeting deadlines, flexibility in working remotely across 5 different time zones and adopting a leadership role in my consulting group to ensure that we stayed on track to assist our client. I researched different social media channels, the geographic layout of US fiber companies, and US competitors to assist in encouraging AEX expansion from South Africa to the United States. At the end of the internship, our team presented a 30-slide PowerPoint to AEX, to outline our recommendations, including 3 key states for expansion and a list of potential partners.

I was a member of SERC's Carbon Crew, and I helped organize the #WhatCarbonNeutralityMeansToMe project of Fall 2018 that reached and educated 100 students on campus about the Carbon Neutrality Initiative. I helped with promoting the Cool Campus Challenge all over campus in Spring 2019 to encourage my peers to reduce their carbon footprint by doing simple energy-saving, waste reducing and sustainability-focused actions.

Worked on SERC's social media team and was in charge of managing SERC’s Instagram by posting 2-4 times per week, promoting events on campus, and doing social media coverage for SERC events.

I promoted DC Row, one of CWP's biggest clients. Over the course of my internship, I gained experience in event planning, community outreach, and marketing. I planned and hosted 5 happy hour events at various locations to inform locals about the services of DC Row. In fact, I helped DC Row gain 80 new potential clients at one of the Senior Symposium events. As part of my communications role, I reached out to 40+ hotels, condos, and apartments in the DC area to promote the DC Row brand. Lastly, I gained experience in using Canva to create over 40 fliers and instagram posts that advertised DC Row events and deals.

I worked with a small private wealth management team on several of their projects and also had the opportunity to learn more about the profession. By working with each team member individually, I learned more specific skills such as excel, basics of investing, and important monetary documents. I added 30 potential new clients to the team’s network through my research and data entry, and gained experience in portfolio management and client presentations.
