Managed the following primary functions, both domestically and internationally: SEC reporting, internal financial and operating reporting, budgeting and forecasting, general accounting, treasury, corporate tax, financial planning and analysis, payroll.Evaluated acquisition targets and divestiture opportunities resulting in four acquisitions and two divestitures in five years. Lead the due diligence and integration of acquired targets. Developed an interactive financial model which allowed for the modeling and analysis of acquisition, as well as divestiture opportunities, produced accretive/dilutive, cash flow and valuation projections used to drive the "go-no/go" decisions. Developed/implemented company's annual operating plan which resulted in taking the company from negative operating margins to 19% margins and from negative to positive cash flow.Successfully managed and implemented the complex regulations governing revenue recognition in the software industry in an effort to maximize reported revenue in a given period, in accordance with SEC regulations and without audit deficiencies.Set quarterly earnings guidance and prepared earnings release.Worked closely with the Sales organization on pricing, contract negotiation, compensation plans, and daily operations.Public facing experience with investment community, worldwide employees, Board of Directors.Responsible for preparation and filing of Annual Report and Proxy materials.Worked closely with internal and external tax team on Section 382 and R&D credit studies.
